Silver chain with the Algiz and Raido runes - custom order

Full-fledged chain. This chain was custom-made for our client. This massive cast chain is crafted from 925 sterling silver with a blackened finish and adorned with Scandinavian-style runic symbols.

The chain consists of cast links of complex shapes with smooth transitions and pronounced volume. Each connecting link is complemented by round medallions with runic symbols, executed in a contrasting blackened finish and polished surface. The main decorative accent is placed on two separate links with different runes.

The first link is adorned with the Algiz rune—a symbol of protection, patronage, and spiritual strength. The rune is housed in a round medallion and highlighted with blackened finish, enhancing the legibility of the symbol. The second link is adorned with the Raido rune—a symbol of movement, path, and life direction. The symbol is also encased in a round medallion with a contrasting finish.

Additional decorative elements include cylindrical inserts with a raised texture. Symbolic star images and ornamental elements are placed on the surface of the cylinders, creating a hand-engraved effect and enhancing the rugged character of the piece. The transitions between the elements are created with neat ring joints, emphasizing the solid cast construction.

The box-type clasp features two latches on each end, harmoniously integrated into the overall design of the chain, and is complemented by a decorative texture that matches the style of the remaining links.

The chain boasts an expressive design, symbolic meaning, and robust construction, highlighting the owner's individuality and the rugged style of the piece.

The chain is made by first modeling, then milling, molding and finally casting. The dimensions of the chain can be adjusted, the clasp and coating can be changed.
